Anaphylaxis Training for School Staff: The 2026 Guide to Compliance & Safety
The new legislation requires all school staff including teachers, support staff, catering teams, and other employees who are present while pupils are on site to complete annual training in allergy awareness and the recognition of anaphylaxis.
This training is not limited to designated first aiders. It is intended to ensure that every member of staff can recognise the signs of a severe allergic reaction and respond appropriately in an emergency.
We offer a one-hour Anaphylaxis Awareness workshop designed specifically for schools. While this is not a regulated qualification, it provides staff with essential knowledge and practical guidance on recognising anaphylaxis, responding effectively, and understanding their responsibilities. All attendees will receive a Certificate of Attendance upon completion.
£50.00 fee - there is no limit on the amount of attendees for this session.
If you have less than four candidates please contact us as we may be able to place you on course at another local venue.
First Aid for Schools
We can offer basic first aid training for your pupils. This could be a First Aid after school club or a one off workshop to fit with specific curriculum subject matter. Prices start from £30.00 per hour and we are happy to teach groups of up to 30 pupils (for groups larger than 10 we will ask that you provide a member of staff to assist with the session).
