Do I need an Emergency Paediatric First Aid or Paediatric First Aid qualification?
It is the responsibility of the employer to decide, on a needs assessment basis, if they wish their employees to cover the exact same syllabus as that covered on a First Aid at Work course.
Does my organisation or job role need to be associated with a water based activity or water safety?
No! This qualification is a nationally recognised qualification and Ofqual accredited, suitable for all individuals and industries.

How long does the qualification last?
You will be required to renew your qualification after three years from completion of the assessment.

Do I need an EFAW or FAW qualification?
It is the responsibility of the employer to decide, on a needs assessment basis, if they wish their employees to cover the exact same syllabus as that covered on a First Aid at Work course.
What is the difference between Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) and First Aid at Work (FAW)?
EFAW is suitable for staff who work in a ‘low risk’ environment such as an office or shop and meets HSE requirements. FAW includes the content covered in the EFAW course but also enables the first-aider to recognise and administer first aid in more serious scenarios.
