Hi, my name is Di, I have worked in this industry for the last 30 years.

I am a passionate, committed, personable person who strives to make people comfortable whilst delivering First Aid tuition. I previously worked for the British Red Cross as a youth trainer in the Thames Valley area teaching First Aid to both young people and adults working with or responsible for young people. I currently train all the lifeguards who work in the Reading Borough Council leisure centres and previously ran all the lifeguard courses too.

With regards to First Aid courses and First Aid training my client list includes:
Theale C of E Primary School, Theale Green School, Englefield C of E Primary School, The Abbey School, Berkshire Music Trust, Brightstart Nursey, Great Holland Primary School & E P Collier Primary School.

With regards to Aquatics and lifesaving training for Swimming Teachers & Coaches my client includes: Reading Swimming Club, Reading Royals Artistic Swimming Club, The Abbey School & iSwim Swim School as well as teachers in the Reading GLL Lesiure Centres.

I am fortunate enough to have worked with young people, and in education for many years and you may know me or associate my name with other groups I am connected with rather than first aid. In education some of you will know me as the Reading Primary Schools Swimming coordinator at South Reading Leisure Centre whilst others may know me through my Business Development role with schools is East Berkshire for Berkshire Maestros.

I was the Head Coach at Reading Royals Synchronised Swimming Club for over 10 years, coaching many young people who lived locally at both club and national level which included swimmers who competed in the London 2012 Olympics. I still coach with Reading Royals and continue to be a National Synchronised Swimming Judge.

On a Saturday evening you will find me on the poolside at Windsor Leisure Centre coaching for the Electric Eels Swimming & Synchonised Swimming Club for people with Down Synndrome as well as coaching the GB Down Syndrome Synchro Team.
