
Emergency First Aid at Work
The IQL Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) qualification enables a first-aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work. This one-day course covers a range of CPR and first aid skills, providing you with the skills to ensure a safe working environment. The qualification is Ofqual accredited and valid for three years, making it suitable for all industries and enabling you to meet HSE requirements. The Emergency First Aid at Work course is six hours and can be delivered in one day or split into smaller sessions over a four week period from the start of the course. The course comprises of practical work and theoretical classroom work, including practical assessment on CPR and first aid. The award is valid for three years as of the date of assessment.
First Aid at Work
The IQL Level 3 First Aid at Work Qualification covers a wide range of CPR and first aid skills, equipping the first-aider to apply first aid to a range of specific injuries and illness. This three-day course covers a range of CPR and first aid skills, providing you with the skills to ensure a safe working environment. The qualification is Ofqual accredited and valid for three years, making it suitable for all industries and enabling you to meet HSE requirements. The First Aid at Work course is 18 hours and can be delivered over three consecutive days or can be split into smaller sessions and delivered over a 10 week period from the start of the course. The course comprises of practical work and theoretical classroom work, as well as a practical assessment on CPR and first aid.
Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Programme
AED is part of the guidelines for Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in the UK and Europe and a vital part of improving the chance of survival in cases of cardiac arrest, in some cases up to 75%. IQL offer a standalone AED course and the opportunity to add AED qualification to several of our qualification courses. The IQL Level 2 Award in Automated External Defibrillator- AED enables someone to give CPR and use an AED. The qualification is Ofqual accredited and valid for two years. The Automated External Defibrillator course is four hours and is designed to be delivered in one day. The course comprises of practical work and theoretical classroom work, including practical assessment on CPR and AED.
